L’ottavo album degli EXO si intitola REVERXE e segna ufficialmente il rientro discografico del gruppo dopo una lunga pausa.
REVERXE uscirà il 19 gennaio 2026 alle 18:00 (KST) e sarà il primo full album del gruppo dopo anni di assenza. Un progetto che rappresenta un nuovo capitolo, atteso e carico di significato.
SM Entertainment aveva già confermato il comeback sui canali ufficiali, annunciando la partecipazione di sei membri: Suho, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, Sehun e Lay. Una formazione parziale, ma dal forte valore simbolico.
Restano invece esclusi dal progetto Chen, Baekhyun e Xiumin (EXO-CBX), attualmente concentrati sulle rispettive attività soliste dopo le dispute contrattuali con SM. Non è una reunion completa, ma è un passo importante.
Un’anticipazione di questa nuova fase è arrivata durante il fan meeting del 13 e 14 dicembre, all’Inspire Arena di Incheon, dove il gruppo ha sorpreso il pubblico presentando I’m Home, brano che sarà contenuto nel nuovo album.
La traccia è una ballad pop intensa e avvolgente, che unisce la delicatezza del pianoforte a suggestivi archi.
Il testo parla di una promessa. E di un ritorno.
Un inverno lungo e sospeso, e due universi che continuano a esistere in parallelo finché non trovano il modo di riallinearsi.
“Home” è uno spazio emotivo in cui si può sempre tornare. C’è la vulnerabilità di chi fa ritorno, e la dolcezza di chi ha aspettato senza chiedere spiegazioni.
