È uscito oggi il nuovo EP di Crush, intitolato FANG. Un ritorno molto atteso, che porta con sé tutta l’intensità e la raffinatezza che lo contraddistinguono.
Nei giorni scorsi l’artista aveva già lasciato intravedere l’atmosfera del progetto attraverso alcune immagini pubblicate sui social: scatti onirici, in cui appare disteso sulla sabbia, assorto nei suoi pensieri, e altre foto più crude, con abiti strappati e segni sulla pelle, a suggerire una narrazione forte e viscerale.
L’EP raccoglie tracce che portano la sua firma non solo vocale ma anche autoriale: Crush ha infatti partecipato direttamente alla realizzazione di ogni brano, rendendo FANG un lavoro molto personale. L’estetica è intensa, a tratti drammatica, ma non manca quella leggerezza che da sempre caratterizza il suo stile.
Il pezzo che apre l’album è “UP ALL NITE”, in collaborazione con Sumin. È una canzone che racconta la magia e il trasporto di una notte senza sonno, dove i corpi e gli sguardi parlano più delle parole. L’energia è sensuale, ipnotica, con quel tocco libero e sfacciato che richiama le emozioni che bruciano fino all’alba.
