Gli Stray Kids hanno ufficialmente fatto il loro ritorno sulla scena K-pop con il nuovo singolo pre-release “RUN IT”, accompagnato da un video musicale che è già un concentrato di energia pura.
Un comeback annunciato inizialmente nel cuore della notte con un teaser in bianco e nero di cinquantuno secondi, e che ora è finalmente realtà su tutte le piattaforme di streaming.
RUN IT fa da apripista a “THIS & THAT”, il nuovo attesissimo album previsto per il prossimo 7 agosto.
La tracklist sarà composta da otto tracce. Si tratta del primo vero progetto discografico degli Stray Kids in questo 2026, a circa nove mesi di distanza dal mixtape DO IT uscito lo scorso novembre (se non consideriamo “STAY“, l’inno speciale dedicato al loro fandom rilasciato all’inizio dell’anno).
Un nuovo tour mondiale all’orizzonte
Gli Stray Kids sono pronti a riprendersi anche i palchi di tutto il mondo. Insieme al singolo è arrivata infatti la conferma della nuova tournée globale, che prenderà il nome proprio da questa release: “RUN IT” World Tour.
Mentre si attendono i dettagli completi su tutte le tappe, i primi appuntamenti della “Part 1” sono già stati ufficializzati. Si partirà in grande stile con ben cinque serate consecutive al KSPO Dome di Seul. Poi sarà il turno del Giappone, dove la band si esibirà al MUFG Stadium e nei principali stadi coperti del Paese, prima di toccare Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok e Singapore.
RUN IT
Dal punto di vista sonoro, RUN IT colpisce fin dal primo secondo: ritmi incalzanti e un’energia che sembra non concedere pause.
Anche il testo segue la stessa direzione.
Più che una semplice celebrazione del successo, è il racconto di un percorso costruito passo dopo passo: da quella piccola stanza di Seoul in cui tutto è iniziato fino ai palchi più grandi del mondo.
Gli Stray Kids guardano ai traguardi raggiunti, ma senza fermarsi troppo a contemplarli. Il messaggio che attraversa tutta la canzone è chiaro: quello che hanno conquistato finora non rappresenta un punto d’arrivo, ma solo l’inizio di qualcosa di ancora più grande.
Il tema dell’andare avanti nonostante le difficoltà è da sempre presente nella loro musica, ma qui cambia il modo di raccontarlo. C’è meno urgenza, meno rabbia, e una consapevolezza diversa. Gli Stray non sentono più il bisogno di dimostrare il proprio valore; sanno chi sono, conoscono il loro posto e continuano a correre senza abbassare lo sguardo.
Anche il video ufficiale rafforza questa visione attraverso un’estetica cinematografica già anticipata nei teaser. I membri si muovono in scenari desertici e post-apocalittici, tra strutture industriali e spazi essenziali che amplificano il senso di avanzamento continuo. Le coreografie, il bianco e nero e la fotografia fredda e intensa costruiscono un’atmosfera più oscura rispetto alle ultime uscite del gruppo. Non c’è una narrazione lineare da seguire: è il linguaggio visivo, insieme all’energia delle immagini, a guidare ogni scena.
