Oggi, 24 ottobre 2025, gli ATEEZ celebrano sette anni di attività. Per l’occasione, il gruppo ha reso finalmente disponibile sulle piattaforme digitali From, un brano fino a oggi reperibile solo come video musicale sul loro canale YouTube.
La canzone, scritta e prodotta dal leader Hongjoong con il contributo di tutti i membri, vede la luce durante le riprese del reality show pre-debutto KQ Fellaz American Training (qui per vederlo sul canale You Tube della KQ Entertainment). Il programma documentava il traning del gruppo negli Stati Uniti, presso la rinomata Millennium Dance Complex di Los Angeles.
All’epoca, conosciuti ancora come KQ Fellaz, avevano già catturato l’attenzione del pubblico internazionale con una performance coreografata di Pick It Up di Famous Dex (feat. A$AP Rocky). From era parte integrante di quel progetto. Una curiosità che rende il brano ancora più prezioso: in quel periodo, Hongjoong subì il furto del computer portatile, perdendo le demo originali di From e di molti altri pezzi.
Il brano è un ringraziamento e un incoraggiamento diretto a ATINY, il loro fandom. Il messaggio è semplice e potente: Siamo qui, al vostro fianco, sempre.
Il testo parla di quei momenti in cui il mondo sembra soffocarti o ci si sente sperduti in un mare infinito. In quelle situazioni, la voce degli ATEEZ diventa un punto di riferimento, un conforto.
Quella del mare non è solo una metafora generica, ma un pilastro dell’immaginario narrativo del gruppo, che rappresenta il viaggio e le sue avversità. A volte basta un sorriso per ritrovare la forza di andare avanti, certi che ci sarà sempre una mano tesa ad aspettarci.
