Qui il cinema diventa la metafora di una storia d’amore conclusa: tra le poltrone vuote, il protagonista rivive ricordi dolorosi, sospesi nel tempo ma ormai sbiaditi come la luce fioca della sala. Questi momenti vengono ripercorsi fino a quando la proiezione termina e le luci si accendono, riportandolo bruscamente alla realtà e al presente.
